There's one good thing about not actually being a member of a band, Braiden thought, as he turned his rental car into the parking lot of the closest bar he could find. I can drink all I want and not have to worry about getting too hungover to perform. He smirked as he parked the car a few spots away from the entrance, and as he got out, he could hear and feel the bass playing from the inside. It looked kind of trashy on the outside, but Braiden liked those best: the girls that usually came to these bars were always willing to give it up.
Quickly walking to the front doors, Braiden flashed his ID to the bouncer waiting there. He didn't wait to be accepted in; he just kept walking. If the bar wanted to deny him, they could kick him out. Brai didn't care, and he knew there were plenty of other bars in town that would accept him. He walked through the crowd hanging around the front, looking for friends or people they knew, and headed straight for the bar. There were a few empty seats, but Braiden took a seat right in the middle of the action. There, he was ensured to be noticed by anyone, male or female, that walked up.
The bartender, a young, very cute looking girl, looked over, before setting down the glass she was drying and walked over to him. "Well, what can I get ya', handsome?"
"A Jack n' Coke, please," he said, winking at her. Ok, so while she wasn't his type, he couldn't help but flirt. It was just in his nature. She blushed, or at least it looked like she did. She quickly made his drink, and brought it over to him, telling him to get her if he needed anything else. He promised he would, and when she left to go attend to some others at the bar, Braiden took a sip. It was stong, but once he got over the first drink, he knew that this girl knew how to make drinks. She'd have him drunk within a few hours, which was exactly the way Braiden liked it.
He set his drink back on the bar, looking around the room. He half expected to see some more members from other bands here tonight, but because tour was starting in a few days, who knew. Most of the people there were people from town, but as he made one last sweep of the building, his eyes landed on a familiar face. He raised his hand, waving the person over.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
